Death Cab For Cutie frontman Benjamin Gibbard has been working on a solo album for a long while now – over eight years. That record, Former Lives, will be released on Friday October 12, and Ben today unveiled its first song – ‘Teardrop Windows’. Of the album, Ben’s said, “These songs span eight years, three relationships, living in two different places, drinking then not drinking. They’re a side story, not a new chapter.” Download ‘Teardrop Windows’ free, below.
