Benjamin Gibbard has just released his first solo album, Former Lives, and took time out to reconsider his image for its awesome first video, ‘Teardrop Windows’. Ben wrote Former Lives across eight years, and played all of the instruments on the record himself – excepting the Mariachi parts of  ‘Something’s Rattling (Cowpoke)’. Former Lives is available on iTunes, at JB HiFi and in all good record stores now.
