One of the most consistently incredible bands out there, Calexico have announced a new studio LP – Algiers, named for the New Orleans town which the album was written & recorded in. The band’s last record, 2008’s Carried To Dust was followed by an Australian tour that reminded us just how powerful these guys are live. Here’s the first track from the album – the gorgeous ‘Para’. We’ll release Algiers on Friday September 7.
