Returning recently with the striking ‘Para’, Calexico have today unveiled a brand new song – ‘Splitter’, taken from their forthcoming album Algiers. The band were inspired by the desolate outer New Orleans suburb when writing and recording the album, and so comes the name-sake album title. The band’s core duo, John Convertino & Joey Burns perform ‘Splitter’ live below. Algiers is released on Friday September 7.
