We are pleased to announce Mellow Waves, the first new album from Cornelius in over 11 years. Please watch the video for “If You’re Here,” the first taste of the new project and also the first single from the album. The video was directed by Koichiro Tsujikawa who made many of the videos for Cornelius’ 2006 album, Sensuous.
The album will be released July 21 in Australia & New Zealand. The first single “If You’re Here” received best new music on Pitchfork. The review says ” Cornelius is still interested in seeing how spacious he can make his music, with stretches here and there featuring only the slightest beat and synth, letting every detail stand out”.
