Emma Russack to tour ‘Permanent Vacation’ this September

Emma Russack has unveiled her fourth full-length album, Permanent Vacation, via Spunk Records with vinyl through Deaf Ambitions. To celebrate, Emma will debut the album live with a co-launch with The Ocean Party in Melbourne on September 16, before heading to Sydney and Wollongong later in the month on her way to play Dashville Skyline festival.

Overall, Permanent Vacation is a less confessional album than any of her previous works, In a New State (2016), You Changed Me (2014) or Sounds Of Our City (2012). Emma explains, “For the first time in a long time, the songs came out of contentment and reflection – as opposed to some kind of existential crisis or breakup.”
