Six years in the making, but entirely worth the wait, the new Firekites album is out now. Recorded by the band in their own studio in Newcastle, it was then mixed by John McEntire in Chicago. Reviews have been tip top, the music says ‘this is an album to get lost in’ (4/5) while the Sydney Morning Herald says ‘like swimming in an ocean of glowing light’ (5/5). Yep 5 out of 5!
