Recorded in a 1930s dancehall and spanning psych, pop and angular indie across its ten songs, the debut LP from Auckland’s Popstrangers is certainly a nod to the Kiwi legend of stand-out guitar music. Out today, Antipodes has caught attention worldwide – released in America by the much loved Car Park Records (Cloud Nothings, Beach House), and soon seeing the band relocate to the northern hemisphere.
