Finally, we can share some new music from Jim James of My Morning Jacket‘s debut solo album Regions of Light and Sound of God , with Jim revealing single ‘A New Life’ overnight. With intentions of creating an album that sounds, in his own words, “like it came from a different place in time” , Jim not only played all instruments but also produced and engineered the LP, due for release on Friday February 1, himself.
